Whew! Mariah The Scientist spilled all the tea on Yung Miami’s, ‘Caresha Please’ podcast. The ‘Spread Thin’ singer dished about her dating history with rapper Lil Yachty way before she fell for her current boo, Young Thug.

Mariah Gets Real About Past Relationships With Lil Yachty
Yung Miami dove right into the smoke with Mariah, The Scientist, during the interview. The former ‘City Girls’ rapper asked Mariah if she ever dated Lil Yachty. Mariah politely sipped her drink and dodged the question, but Miami kept pushing her to confirm if Yachty was the ex she said she made a song for in college but was scared to send it because she didn’t want want to be embarrassed.
“We dated,” Mariah replied.
Mariah clarified that she and Yachty met in high school but started dating while she was in college. She added that while they were together, his career took off, leaving her feeling lost on how to keep his interest since she was just a “broke college student.”
“I made him two different songs, and I put them on an iPod, and I gifted it to him… signed the back. And it was real cute,” Mariah said.
However, once Yachty received Mariah’s music, she claimed he told her he didn’t want to “joan” her. So, he chose not to listen to her songs to avoid embarrassing her and hurting her feelings. The Atlanta musician told Miami that after Yachty passed on her songs, she felt like she might be stepping on his toes. After Yachty shot down her sweet gesture, Mariah said she chose to move on. Then, her friends hyped her up, saying her singing was fire and she should pursue it as a career.
Thugger Proudly Shows Love To Mariah
Mariah says she’s no longer stressing heartbreak, though. Her man, Young Thug, showed love to his lil’ baby by rocking a hoodie in support of her upcoming birthday, which falls on Oct. 27. In a photo shared by Editor-in-Chief Dennis Byron, Thug appears sporting the black pullover sweatshirt that reads, “I heart Mariah” during a recent court appearance.
As TSR previously reported, Young Thug has been locked up since May 2022 on YSL RICO charges, including conspiracy, gang activity, and drug-related charges. Despite remaining behind bars, the rapper has continued to stand ten toes for Mariah by constantly sharing photos of her. In September, he showed off his lady by uploading a pic of her from New York Fashion Week on Instagram. Thug captioned the post of Mariah, “Send me a hard copy of this picture. I’m tryna do sum right fast.”
