Ciara Recreates GloRilla’s Viral Interview
GloRilla’s conversation with Speedy Morman sparked tons of reactions on social media thanks to her charming Memphis accent. On October 9, Speedy released his exclusive interview with the ‘TGIF’ rapstress through Complex. Several clips quickly went viral, featuring Glo saying phrases like, “popped up on my newsfeed” and “beautiful spirit” in her heavy Memphis accent.
Ciara decided to take it to Memphis as well by recreating the chat and pretending to be Glo. The ‘Goodies’ singer posted the video on Instagram on Wednesday, Oct. 30, nailing Glo’s look with the same blinged-out chain, colorful two-piece outfit, her long curly hair, and all of her tattoos on her legs and arms.
Furthermore, Cici put her own twist on the video by closing it with a performance of Glo’s new track featuring Sexyy Red, titled, ‘Whatchu Kno About Me.’
Both GloRilla and Speedy seemed to approve of Ciara’s creativity and commented under her post. Glo wrote, “Lmaoooo CICI OMG.” While Speedy added, “Im cryingggg.”
