Nearly a week after BeatKing’s tragic passing, his girlfriend Talameshia has responded publicly for the first time.

As The Shade Room previously reported, BeatKing’s manager Tasha Felder announced his death in an Instagram post on August 15. Fox 26 Houston confirmed to TMZ that the Houston producer and musician died from a pulmonary embolism.

As fans mourn BeatKing’s loss, his girlfriend Talameshia shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram in response to the news.

In the caption, Talameshia opened up about her relationship with the rapper, sharing that she’s struggling to process his death while also expressing gratitude to his fans for their ongoing love and support.

“Idk if this makes it real. Idk if this helps or hurts me. Idk what version of him everyone got. But I know I got to love laugh and live with the best version of him. Over everything, he’s my Bestest friend. My BIGGEST supporter. He called me his Superstar,” Talameshia wrote.

“I see everyone’s prayers and encouraging words. It’s helping more than you know. Send me any videos and photos you have of us or him 🙏🏽 I posted this for yall. Because if you know us , you know he’d want me to keep going. He’d say “Mannnn stop crying and drop all that music,” Talameshia wrote.

More Details On Houston Producer’s Death

BeatKing’s death on August 15 sent shockwaves through Houston. His manager Tasha Felder revealed the news on Instagram, sharing photos of him and highlighting his legacy.

“Today, August 15, 2024 we have lost @Clubgodzilla. BeatKing has been the best part of the club for over a decade. He has produced and worked with so many artists, that his sound will forever live. He loved his daughters @clubgodparenting, his music and his fans. We love him forever,” Felder wrote

Fans quickly responded on social media, flooding timelines with love and celebrating his legacy through his music.

Fox26 Houston reported that the producer collapsed while hosting at the Urban One/Radio One station and was subsequently rushed to the hospital. TMZ later confirmed that he passed away that same day with his two daughters by his side.

BeatKing built his reputation with popular hits like, ‘Thick,’ ‘Then Leave,’ and ‘Outside Remix’ featuring Natalie Nunn as well as many others.
