Cory Hadrict Opens Up About Co-Parenting With Tia Mowry

On Wednesday, September 25, a new episode of ‘The Pivot Podcast’ premiered via YouTube. Hardrict was featured as a guest, and about 24 minutes into the show, he opened up about how he and Mowry balance their roles while co-parenting. Additionally, he shared how he’s “adapted” to the change in his family dynamic.

“Everything is about the kids… in co-parenting and keeping it just still a family and love-based — still keeping God first at the center of everything and just walking with love, man,” Hardrict said. “That’s what it’s about.”

As the conversation continued, Hardrict explained that he wishes Mowry “the best” and “that’s unconditional” from him.

“You can’t get caught up in what’s going on out there [and] what people are saying,” he explained. “I just know where my heart is at and I have to continue to move that way because I want all my blessings and… if I succeed, she succeeds, our kids succeed.”

Ultimately, he explained that he has “no room for failure” or “mistakes.”

A Brief Recap Of Cory Hardrict & Tia Mowry’s Divorce

As The Shade Room previously reported, Mowry filed for divorce from Hardrict in October 2022 after fourteen years of marriage. The couple share two children, and at the time, Mowry attributed their split to irreconcilable differences.

In April of 2023, the pair’s divorce was reportedly finalized, per The Shade Room. Additionally, specific details of their settlement were not made public. However, US Weekly reported they “entered into a written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights, including support.”

In June of that year, Mowry got candid while speaking to HelloBeautiful about her divorce. She explained that it was a decision she contemplated “for years.”

“I love being a wife. But I am understanding that tradition could be a blessing and a curse,” she said. What I mean by that is tradition warrants for no change, whereas change is constant.”

In March, Mowry and Hardrict had their first public interaction since the finalization of their divorce while on the red carpet of Essence Black Women In Hollywood Awards, per The Shade Room. Subsequently, the pair went viral.
