Friend Reacts After Jayda Cheaves Calls Her Out For Leaving Trip

Jayda Cheaves was trending on Thursday (Oct. 24) after her friend Leah got some things off her chest! Leah clapped back at Jayda for calling her out on the podcast with Dess Dior. Apparently, the Waydamin founder wasn’t feeling why Leah had to dip early from the getaway. Now, social media is weighing in on who was right in the situation.

Jayda Cheaves’ Friend Reacts To Her Storytelling On Podcast

As mentioned, Jayda and Dess recently chatted about a trip where two friends left early, and Cheaves name-dropped Leah. The podcast hosts didn’t go into details about what happened. Nonetheless, Leah felt like her friend was putting her business out there and, in return, forcing her to defend herself. She addressed the breakdown in communication via Instagram Live.

“Y’all can get on the internet and say that I left. Now, when I’m being harassed and questioned about it, now I have to be quiet. Like come on, let’s not…you want me to look crazy, no. And I spoke on how I felt about that being put on the podcast, and it was still put on the podcast.”

Additionally, Leah said that the reason she left the trip was nobody’s business but hers. She further asserted that her friend did not protect her by exposing her to questions and drags. “At the end of the day, I always protect my friends. I’m never gon’ have my friends looking crazy. I don’t care bro. Never.”

Waydamin Brand Founder Slides Into Friend’s Livestream

At one point, Jayda slid into the live stream, seemingly attempting to clear her name. “While she on here doing a thang,” Jayda wrote, before adding that they had a conversation after Jayda had spoken to another friend named Lay. But Leah wasn’t having it and pointed out that she was there for Cheaves when she got detained in Jamaica in 2021. “And I’m not there for you,” the influencer asked back in the live stream chat.

“Sh*t so fckn lame,” Jayda also wrote in the chat. And Leah agreed, saying, “It is lame, it’s lame as f**k.” Leah added that she tried to have a conversation with Cheaves two weeks ago, while the apparel entrepreneur wrote back, “Good night.” Swipe below to catch up on what was said.

Over on X (Twitter), social media users and supporters are weighing in on who, what and when went wrong in this friend beef.
