Ireland go strong v Tonga plus South Africa’s Marx blow

Neil Treacy is joined on the RTÉ Rugby World Cup podcast by Bernard Jackman and Stephen Ferris to look ahead to Ireland’s RWC Pool B meeting with Tonga on Saturday.

The panel discuss the selection calls made by head coach Andy Farrell, who has picked a strong starting XV for the second game in a row.

We also look at the big news coming out of the South Africa camp with Springbok hooker Malcom Marx ruled out for the rest of the tournament with a knee injury (20:00).

And we run through some of the week’s other major stories from RWC 2023, including the frustrations around inconsistent officiating (35:00), and the fascinating clash of Australis and Fiji this weekend (42:10).
