Joe Budden is tapping into his lover boy side when it comes to trippin’ with his bae Shadée Monique. On Wednesday (Sept. 18), the popular podcast host shared content from a recent vacation with Shadee to his Instagram Stories.
Joe Budden Was All Smiles While On His Baecation
Budden and Shadee have been dating since 2019, per HotNewHipHop. They reportedly met at a pool party, and she later allegedly accompanied Joe on his Turks & Caicos birthday trip in August of that year. The couple tends to be lowkey about their romantic bond, hardly appearing on each other’s social media accounts. However, this week, Joey gave an inside look at their vacation vibes, from fooling around in the sun to Shadée’s romantic effort.

In one clip, Budden attempted to give viewers a side profile of his shirtless body. When Shadée Monique slid into the camera frame in her bikini, Joey quickly attempted to hide her curves behind him.
Budden also shared a photo of himself and his lady standing in a boat. In white text, he addressed his outfit, which was a matching, tropical print shorts-and-shirt set. “Fun fact,I copped this bad boy right out the Mondrian gift shop, I love shopping there lowkey lol,” he wrote.
A third post by Budden captured their hotel bed decorated with red rose petals shaped like a heart. He joked about his age in a brief caption, writing, “Beautiful but I went to bed, I am 44 years old lol.” Meanwhile, another video shows Budden and Monique kiki-ing at the airport about an “old racist, white lady.” Swipe below to peep the baecation recap.
Meanwhile, on her Instagram feed, Shadée shared a carousel post featuring bikini photos of herself and memes. Joe might not have been in any of her pictures, but he slid into the comment section.
“Sit down somewhere, but get your sh*t off too I guess lol,” he wrote.
Monique appears to be Joe Budden’s first public relationship since splitting from Cyn Santana, who was his former fiancée and is the mother of his youngest son, Lexington. The former couple dated between 2016 and 2019. Santana shocked fans earlier this month when she revealed she’s expecting her second child.
