Kai Cenat recently got slightly emotional on camera. The streamer did so while breaking his silence about his former cameraman’s past inappropriate communications with an underaged girl. Cenat addressed the circulating topic about ChrisV on his platform.
Kai Cenat Breaks Silence On Former Cameraman’s Behavior
Cenat credited ChrisV with helping him build his platform and boost his success. However, given the surfaced inappropriate contact, Kai added that he no longer plans to associate with ChrisV.
The streamer added that the communications occurred between December 2021 and February/March 2022. He has confirmed the authenticity of the texts. At the time, the girl involved was 17, but she is now 19.
She initially lied about her age during an introduction to ChrisV, claiming to be 19. However, in a message to Kai Cenat, the woman involved clarified that she later told the former cameraman her true age. Rather than cut the communications with the 17-year-old, ChrisV allegedly persisted in chatting.
“…It’s just f**king annoying when sh*t happens…I get connected in situations,” Kai Cenat said, banging on his computer table multiple times and choking back tears while encouraging himself to “relax.”
Kai added that ChrisV was “supposed to” stop texting the minor the “moment” he learned her true age. “Right at that moment, you’re supposed to drop all conversation. Anything that’s below the age of consent, you’re not supposed to talk to them. It is not cool,” he said.
Streamer Reveals Details About The Alleged Sexting
The streamer said he reached out to the woman to confirm his former cameraman’s phone number. Everything lined up, per Kai.
“I don’t know how people are not just seeing something, or like a age or something, and just stopping. … I’m not sugarcoating sh*t, the sh*t look f**king crazy, bro. And the sh*t f**ked me up the whole day, gang. Like the whole f**king day. Sh*t f**ked me up ’cause, like, ni**a, what the f**k are you doing? Like what are you doing? Like, ni**a, I have a whole vision, how I want…I need to stop crying and sh*t.”
The woman’s message to Kai clarified that she met ChrisV on the groupchat app Discord. She admitted that she initially lied about her age because her “friends told [her] to.” After ChrisV reached out on Instagram, the woman said she admitted that she lied because she knew it wasn’t “really cool to lie bout that.”
“Later on, it turned out to him being flirtatious and then texting me wild sh*t u shouldn’t say to a minor,” the woman wrote.
Additionally, the 19-year-old admitted that she and ChrisV also FaceTimed, including during one instance where he passed the phone to Kai. Screenshots of the texts show ChrisV mentioning the minor’s genital area and detailing what a sexual encounter between them would be like.

As for what’s next, Kai Cenat emphasized that he doesn’t rock with anything that happened or likes for it to be around or affiliated with him. Moving forward, Cenat said, “[ChrisV is] not associated with me; I’m not associated with him.”
“I don’t want to take no break or nothing because I feel like I have tunnel vision for what I want to do. And I won’t let anything prevent me from doing certain sh*t,” he said.
