King Harris, the 20-year-old son of rapper T.I. and Tiny Harris, was arrested in Dunwoody, Georgia on Monday (Oct. 14), according to Fox5Atlanta.

Details On King Harris’ Arrest
Jail records show that authorities issued a warrant for King’s arrest in Pickens County because he had failed to appear in court. Investigators say King Harris allegedly cut off a Dunwoody police officer while leaving a gas station, nearly hitting the officer’s car. The officer reportedly turned around and stopped King’s vehicle.
WSB-TV reports that when the officer approached King, he noticed a gun on his hip and instructed him to place his hands on the steering wheel. While checking King’s information, the officer discovered that authorities wanted him in Pickens County for failing to appear in court. Shortly after, authorities arrested King and took him to the DeKalb County Jail.
“I informed Mr. Harris that I would need to speak with him outside and opened the driver-side door. Mr. Harris was cooperative, and I removed the firearm from his hip with no issue. I then had Mr. Harris step out of the vehicle and I detained him by placing handcuffs on him. I escorted Mr. Harris to my patrol vehicle, conducted a pat down, and placed him into the rear of my vehicle,” the arresting officer said in the incident report.
Per Fox5Atlanta, King faced charges in August 2022 for speeding, driving a vehicle with a suspended license, and operating under the influence of drugs. In September, authorities issued a bench warrant after an arraignment notice went unreturned.

King’s arrest coincides with his father, T.I., announcing his soon-to-arrive grandchild, a baby boy last month. T.I. discussed the big news during an interview with Hot 107.9 alongside fellow rapper Young Dro, which aired on August 27.

Furthermore, T.I. joked about what he’s looking forward to the most with his family’s new addition. “And I told him King I’m gonna make this one the greatest gangster of all time,” T.I. said while laughing. “I’m gonna raise this one to torture you the way you tortured me — I promise you there will be an indictment in this young one.”
Earlier this month, King and the mother of his child, J’Nijah, celebrated their pregnancy with a glamorous baby shower surrounded by family and friends. King’s mother, Tiny Harris, shared a close-up of the festivities and decor on (Oct. 6). Additionally, Tiny expressed excitement about the anticipation of King and J’Nijah’s bundle of joy.
