Ryan Anderson Reacts To Gypsy Rose’s Pregnancy & Reveals Plans For DNA Test
According to PEOPLE, Anderson took to TikTok live on Saturday, August 10. During his stream, Anderson reportedly revealed the news to viewers.
“I have to get a DNA test. I don’t have a choice,” he reportedly explained. “…I hate being in this situation.”
As the stream continued, Anderson explained that he has to take the DNA test “for court.” However, he also noted that the way his “timeline matches up,” he doesn’t think Rose’s unborn child is his. But he’s not 100% certain.
“The way the timeline matches up — I don’t think it’s mine, but I don’t know,” he reportedly added. “The DNA test is going to prove it. Crazier things have happened. I just don’t know. I have my thoughts and I have my opinions.”
Elsewhere during the stream, Anderson also explained that he’s “always going to have love” for Rose.
“She was my wife and I did marry her, you know?” he reportedly said. “…If anyone is going to bash her, it should be me… [But] if I can overlook it and accept the way things are. If I’m not bashing her, why y’all need to?”
Here’s Why The DNA Test Is Reportedly Important
As The Shade Room previously reported, Rose, who is now dating her ex-fiancé Ken Urker, revealed their pregnancy in July. At the time, she even revealed that their baby is expected in January 2025.
According to the Daily Mail, Rose likely conceived the child in April due to her reported due date. Furthermore, the outlet notes that Rose filed for divorce from Anderson on April 8.
As for the DNA test, PEOPLE adds that Louisiana law could force Anderson’s name to be listed on the child’s birth certificate should Rose give birth before their divorce is finalized.
“If the mother is married to someone other than the biological father when the child was conceived or has been divorced for less than 300 days at the time of birth, the husband/ex-husband shall be the presumed father, unless paternity is established for the biological father,” the law reportedly states, per the outlet.
According to the outlet, if Urker would like his name on the birth certificate, Anderson needs to sign an affidavit confirming that Urker is the father.
The outlet adds that the jurisdiction was established to ensure the child has “a father and a mother to provide for them.”
Gypsy Rose & Her Boyfriend Ken Urker Recently Revealed The Baby’s Gender
Anderson’s revelation also arrived the same day Rose and Urker made an important revelation themselves. As The Shade Room previously reported, Rose and Urker revealed they are expecting a baby girl.
In a video announcement, the couple made the announcement while sending a message to their unborn child.
“Sweetie, I’m your mom,” Rose said before Urker chimed in, adding. “I’m your dad… And you are a girl.”
