Carl Anthony Payne Reveals His Stepson Is Bobby Brown’s Child
Carl Anthony Payne II recently sat down for his first daytime television interview and revealed his stepson is Bobby Brown’s child.
The actor appeared on ‘The Tamron Hall Show’ and shocked the audience with the revelation.

Carl is best known for his roles as ‘Cole Brown’ on the hit 90’s series ‘Martin’ and Walter ‘Cockroach’ Bradley on ‘The Cosby Show.’
Towards the end of his chat with Tamron Hall, she told the audience Payne never did a TV interview before hers. This surprised the audience. Furthermore, they were shocked to learn the identity of his stepson’s father.
Carl Confirms Bobby Brown Is His Stepson’s Dad
Tamron said, “You’ve been married for 30 years to your wife, Melika.”
“In Hollywood worlds that’s like 500 years,” she added.
“And I did not know that your stepson Landon is Bobby Brown’s biological son.
Carl chuckled before saying, “I’ve helped raise him since he was five.”
Additionally, the host mentioned Carl and Bobby have a great relationship.
Tamron continued, “And you and Bobby are friends and have mutual respect. And you share this great kid together.”
“Oh yeah, yeah. He used to come over all the time and I’d be like it’s your turn to take him to school. I’m sleeping in today,” Carl quipped.
Hall shared how she admired their relationship.
“I was raised by my stepdad and so that means the world to me to hear that you have this bond,” the journalist said.
Payne Talks About His Biological Children
Additionally, they discussed his biological children.
“I know that you have three other children total, right,” Hall stated.
The actor replied, “Mmhmm. So, four all together.”
He added,”I have four sons. A lot of testosterone in the house.”
As a result of his first interview, fans gushed over how he aged gracefully.
